TC44 6-in-1 USB-C Hub
The USB-C Hub provides options for users to connect to multiple devices through one cable extension. This is a helpful tool for MacBook users who have limited port types on their machines. The hub is built well, doesn't overheat, and is easy to use. The price is competitive with other hubs that are similar. It's very portable and has a nice style to it.

A USB-C Hub that offers 4K video resolution and travels well with MacBooks.
I constantly see advertisements for multiport adapters. I always thought a multiport adapter was unnecessary and would be a waste of money. I never thought that I needed one until I wanted to try out a projector. It was at that moment I realized that my MacBook Pro only had two USB-C ports and I needed an HDMI connection to make it work. Fortunately, a 6-in-1 USB-C Hub multiport adapter by Lemorele saved the day.
Specs & Details
Before I share my experience, I want to outline the specs provided by the product designer – Lemorele.
The Lemorele 6-in-1 USB-C hub is referred to as both a ‘hub’ and a ‘docking station.’ It is equipped with one (1) 4K@60 Hz HDMI port, two (2) USB-A 3.0 ports (for data), one (1) Gigabit Ethernet port, one (1) USB-C 100W power delivery port, and one (1) USB-C 3.0 data port. The hub connects to tablets or computers with a single, built-in USB-C cable.
The hub is designed to have plug-n-play functionality and doesn’t require any software to operate it. The USB-C hub supports video resolutions up to 4K@60 Hz, but it is backward compatible and also supports 4K@30Hz, 2K@60Hz, and 1080p@60Hz. The 4K resolution is only attainable for laptops with an activated DisplayPort 1.4 and 8K. If an attached computer doesn’t have that, the highest resolution the video can reach will be 4K@30Hz. The HDMI cable that is used should be HDMI 2.0 or higher.
The following devices support 4K @ 60Hz when connected to the hub.
- MacBook Pro 2018 15” /2019 16”
- MacBook Pro 2020 13” with M1 chipset
- MacBook Air 2020 13-inch M1 Chipset
- MacBook Air 2020 13”
- MacBook Pro 2021 14” /16” with M1 Chipset
- iMAC
- iPad Pro 2020 11” /12.9” /2021 12.9”
Even though there are multiple USB/USB-C ports available for data transfer, the user is instructed to only connect one hard drive at a time. Some of the details also state that some 2.4 GHz wireless devices such as keyboards and mouse, may not be supported by the hub or may not work in close proximity to the hub or other USB 3.0 devices.
This information is also included about 2020 M1 MacBook Air laptops.
“If you need to expand two external monitors, you can expand one external monitor via USB C hub, and then the way to expand the second one is through USB to HDMI Adapter.”

My Experience
The Lemorele USB-C Hub came in a simple retail box. It was mostly white with an image of the product on the front. The name of the product was also printed on the front along with the brand name ‘Lemorele.’ The rest of the box was fairly plain and didn’t have a lot of details on it. When you open the box, you find the USB-C hub. There are no additional pieces or parts that ship along with the hub because the USB-C cable is attached.
The 6-in-1 USB-C Hub is something that I didn’t realize that I needed. I have used this device multiple times this week to connect HDMI cables to my iPad and MacBook to use the aforementioned projector. I have tried out the USB-C and USB-A ports for charging multiple devices without any issues. The length of the built-in cable is a very nice touch. Some built-in cables are too short, but this one is a little longer than other USB-C hubs I’ve seen.
As someone who is not a tech person, I feel like there’s adequate ventilation. The device did not get hot to the touch when in use. The design with its aluminum shell is sleek. The adapter is small enough to fit nicely inside my laptop bag. It isn’t large or bulky which is something I also appreciate. I was able to make adjustments to the equipment that I was using and I did not lose connection.
Conclusion
The Lemorele 6-in-1 USB-C Hub has been a solid accessory for my MacBook and It is priced competitively against other USB-C hubs with comparable features. It would be nice if a carrying pouch was included, but that’s not a deal-breaker. Overall, I like this device and I am glad I was able to try it out.
